Some unsolved mysteries remain just that, unsolved. However, with the use of A.I technology, researchers have discovered an interesting detail about who wrote the Dead Sea Scroll documents.

Found deep in the Qumran Caves within the Judean desert in 1946, the Dead Sea Scrolls, are religious manuscripts written about the ancient Jewish sect of Essenes and have remained a piece of public interest for many years.

Recently a team of researchers in The Netherlands have used A.I to analyse The Great Isaiah Scroll to isolate individual characters where the fascinating discovery was made.

By eye, the characters appear to be written by the same hand, but as the A.I algorithm. uncovered, this is not the case. Due to minute changes in the way the characters were written, researchers have concluded that the scroll was written by two scribes.

What makes this discovery ever more important is that it shows how A.I can help revolutionise not only the future of the world, but help uncover the past.
